The Scout and Guide program is a youth development movement that promotes character building, leadership, discipline, and community service. It aims to nurture young individuals into responsible citizens through outdoor activities, teamwork, and life skills training. Scouts (boys) and Guides (girls) participate in camping, trekking, first-aid, knotting, map reading, and social service, which help build physical fitness, confidence, and moral values.

The movement emphasizes the Scout/Guide Promise and Law, fostering honesty, respect, and service to others. Regular troop meetings, national camps, and service projects instill a sense of duty and patriotism. It also provides opportunities to earn badges for mastering various skills.

Scout and Guide programs are recognized by schools and colleges and help students develop leadership qualities and problem-solving abilities. The experience promotes a spirit of adventure and teamwork while encouraging young people to contribute positively to society and the nation. It's truly a journey of learning by doing.
