BRIEF HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT:
The subject Commerce was incorporated as one of the Basic fundamental subject in the college level and got affiliation to Utkal University, Odisha, Bhubaneswar with 64 pass seats in +3 stages in the year 2011. It was in the year 2011, Commerce Department came into existence. From the academic session 2012-13, the institution got affiliation to impart honours teaching in Commerce with 48seats. From the time of its inception the department moves on its path of success to achieve academic excellence. The department equipped with three experienced faculty members teaching in honours as well as pass subjects. Our teachers are dedicated, hardworking and committed for quality teachings and quality development of students.
OBJECTIVES OF THE DEPARTMENT:
- 1. To encourage research activities among the students.
- 2. To enrich academic improvement of the students & teachers.
- 3. To conduct seminar & doubt Clear Class for clear understanding of different topics.
- 4. To arrange study tour & picnic once a year to enhance student activities in different field.
- 5. To develop leadership qualities among our students through participating in N.C.C, N.S.S, Red-Cross & Sports activities.
- 6. To conduct welcome & farewell ceremonies for mutual co-operation among students & teachers.
- 7. To provide well-furnished laboratory for use of students.
- 8. To provide Smart class room learning experience.
